Marblehead's Jeremiah Lee Mansion was built in 1768 at the height of Colonel Lee's prosperity. It is considered one of the finest Colonial Georgian houses in the United States. The wallpaper was hand painted in London specifically for the mansion. It is the only 18th century wallpaper still in its original setting. |
